- Pin 1 should be jumpered to pin31 as you have done, BUT it has to be done
- on the motherboard. Pin 31 on the ROM has to be bent upwards so it's not
- connected to the socket. And then a jumper from pin 21 (I think. in the
- corner down on the right side) to the bent pin 31. This will feed +5V
- (if I remember right) into pin31 on the ROM why there must be NO
- connection to pin 31 in the socket on the MB.

- It worked for me. The difference was that I had a extra socket between the
- one on the MB and the ROM. And the socket was wired 1 - 31. The wire
- between pin 21 and the (bent up) pin 31 was on the ROM.
